Over the past weeks, we’ve increasingly been receiving queries about the future for the ongoing airdrop. As most of you rightly know, last week was technically the last week for our Airdrop program according to the initial roadmap. However, our recent overhaul of the roadmap to account for changes in development invalidated most of what was initially laid out — except the airdrop.
Until now, that is.
With the postponement of TestNet and MainNet’s launch dates (as documented in the previous roadmap) and therefore the utility of the token, the foundation has deemed it appropriate to continue with the airdrop, albeit with slight modifications to reward those who’ve held the longest.
The biggest difference between the previous airdrop and the new one is the weekly airdrop percentage bonus. Unlike its predecessor, there will be no weekly increase in the airdrop bonus. Every user will have the bonus they have accrued frozen at the end of the current airdrop and used to calculate their reward throughout the duration of the event. This is the first step towards rewarding those who have stood by us and held because they are unlikely to have withdrawn (and therefore resetting their multiplier), thereby having a locked-in higher bonus.
Wishing you all a happy hodlingl!
