Australia is looking at blockchain solutions for a land registry. Things like land boundaries, ownership, transfers of ownership etc.
This other article describes using blockchain for land registries.
>In principle, land registries simply need to maintain records of land and real estate ownership, recording changes of hands as they happen over the years. It sounds like a simple enough task, but it comes with myriad challenges.
Sweden is already experimenting with this, on a private blockchain.
For public blockchains for land registries, the only thing I’ve found so far is LTO Network (https://www.ltonetwork.com/use-cases/un-land-registry/). Are there any other competing solutions?
