Banca Sella, the bank in Italy, is now offering to trade Bitcoin through users accounts on the platform that is called Hype platform.
Italian Banca Sella is now allowing their customers to buy, sell and store Bitcoin without interacting with exchanges.
Quarantine measures because of the coronavirus rebuild the Italian financial system in a digital way. The Italian bank, Banca Sella, has allowed its clients to use cryptocurrencies along with the euro for various financial operations. This was made possible thanks to the cooperation of a credit institution with the Hype platform. Hype currently has more than 1.2 million customers, residents of Italy, who are buying digital assets through this platform in order to buy goods and services in the future with their help.
The bank stressed that Hype was involved, as it is believed that there is a certain reduction in risk when buying cryptocurrencies. Hype is also working with Conio, a crypto company that provides custodial services to holders who own crypto.
However, it is obvious that for Banca Sella, working with Hype means a potential expansion of its customer base at the expense of those who already work with Hype, which means that later they can offer various classic banking products. Thus, there is an integration between the cryptosphere and the traditional bank, which is due to the increased demand among Italians for digital methods of settlement due to the quarantine introduced throughout the country as a measure to slow down the spread of coronavirus.
